Harbor The City of Bay St. Louis, MS is pleased to announce the opening of the brand new Bay St. Louis Harbor and Pier! The new facility is located in Old Town Bay St. Louis, just 30 miles from Slidell, LA. It allows boaters to have incredibly easy access to many of the Louisiana marshes and barrier islands for first-class fishing. Applications for slip leases are currently being accepted on a first-come, first-served basis. Plan now to dock your boat and lease a slip at one of the 160 full-service, brand new, beautiful Bay St. Louis Harbor slips. The full service harbor offers boaters 12 ADA accessible slips, electrical and water service connections, full service restrooms and showers, fuel dock and sewer pump out stations, and a 155’x60′ events deck. This beautiful harbor can also accommodate vessels upwards of 100′! The Rutherford Pier serves as the northern boundary of the harbor basin. The pier length is approximately 1,100 linear feet which includes 4 covered platforms and a 30’x50’ fishing platform with a 10’x20′ portion that is covered. Chuck brings with him 25 years of marina experience covering a wide variety of positions including 10 years as a general manager of similar facilities. He has also worked as a dockhand, spent several years in boat yards and mechanical shops, then progressing to service manager, marina manager, and general manager. His most recent position was General Manager of Marina Operations on Lake Powell in Southeastern Utah. During his time there he oversaw the operation of 2 full-service marinas which held over 1000 boats in slips and on moorings.
